RoundUp sales falling

Monsanto (maker of RoundUp) announced layoffs of 2600 people or about 12% of workforce. The layoffs were in response to falling sales of herbicides and biotech seeds. Are biotech seeds GMO stuff? I hope the sales fall to 0%.

A women was spraying her lawn with this a few days back. I live 5 houses away, the wind was blowing away from me, yet it gave me a almost instant headache. I can only imagine what impact it was having on that women's body.

Also the next few days it rained so much. So it all washed away to get into the water cycle.

Just hand weed, or bring in the goats.

Good riddance, the best way to destroy our oppressors is by spreading the truth and by boycotting their products. We as humans are basically paying for our own destruction, shut off the cash flow and the beast withers and dies.

I use it in a jar and dip a Q-tip and paint poison ivy leaves. I have been using out of the same quart mason jar for about 10 years. LOL!

Sidewalk and driveway cracks is a good place. People started using it too much and too carelessly.

Carelessly and frivolously, now the vast majority of soy beans and corn that is fed to humans and animals is absolutely saturated in the stuff.

Monsanto is definitely an evil emperor.......

that being said I have to agree with MicroRoy & iTarzan, is it an excellent weed killer if/when used properly and in moderation. Driveway cracks especially, I have a many years old jug of the shit myself, it works.

I have no garden that it can run off into, nor does my one neighbor who borders my property. When I use it I don't allow my pets near the sprayed area at all. I leave my land to nature for the most part, some of my land (3 acres of grass) gets mowed regularly and some of it I leave to grow to seed, cutting it only once or twice per year.

btw, before I even consider using Roundup I'll use my string trimmer and then my high powered pressure washer, when the weeds are blasted out of the cracks in my pavement I have a friend come by (my bad back doesn't allow bending to the ground) and fill it with Sakrete blacktop filler.

it's good stuff as a last resort for stubborn situations.

The patent on roundup aka glyphosphate ran out at least a year ago and it can be bought at about a third of roundups previous prices.

Glyphosphate is a non selective herbicide that shouldn't be applied to anything you want to live that has green leaves.
I still use it on poison oak and ivy, other than that dont have a lot of use for it.
