Rotating pots for max light exposure

Question: If you grow under a single HPS as I do, is it a good idea to rotate (turn) pots periodically to insure even exposure to the light? I can see some logic in just leaving them stationary and letting the buds find the light on their own.

it provides the plant with an even growing pattern. I grow in pro mix and when I water/feed they get a quarter turn.

Keep in mind the Sun moves across the sky so all parts of the plant get decent exposure, so rotate them to keep even growth with stationary lights.

This is what I do; I mark each pot. Every feeding, which is usually after 2 days of light, I spin all the pots clockwise "15 minutes" Once the pots have made a full revolution I then rotate each pot. One where the other was and so on. I'd defintaly recommend this technique to anyone--I see a lot do the same or similar.
