i'm growing indoors under '2' 315 mh's - last grow was in plastic pots - about 4gallons - the pots are not as wide as a normal pot, but are taller - here are '2' pics of the roots after harvest - i would have expected a lot more roots - both plants are from karma... a josh d and a headbanger - thanks

When the amount of roots are minimal in a container the plant had access to plenty of nutrients. However, if the nutrients are scarce the plant will expand outward more roots in search of needed nutrients. A good example is Grodan Rockwool cube. roots are small because they have excess to all the nutrients they want. Fewer roots equate to plenty of nutriention for plant growth. 😎
