Root Bugs

I have some sort of aphid living on my roots. There not interested in the leaves or stalks, just the roots. Im growing in RDWC and these little tiny bastards are hard to kill. Any advice? Im using a no pest strip which is keeping the problem from getting worse, but i need to get rid of them asap.

I am dealing with these bastards myself

killing my ONLY fuckin grand daddy purple clone from the roots up.

I am trying by spraying with a hydrogen/alcohol/water/hate-you-bastards mix

Only getting to the gdp but ate a shitload out of the root base.

I will wait and see what others say helps.

I removed the affected plants

a bagseed, a romulan and my ONLY gdp

honestly the gdp is the only one I am mad at because the bastard cost me $25 for the clone. I hate buying clones lol.

Hard to help if you don't know what they really are. Are they fungus gnat larvae? Do you have any gnats flying around?

Check to see if SM90 is compatible with your medium. If so, it's golden.

If there are gnats present you can simply submerge pots in water up to the soil line overnight, then drain. It'll drown the litle bastards with out harming the plants at all or resorting to poisons.

I TOOOOO have had these fuckers... GNATROL WDG or whatever the last three letters are... Its a powder.... use it for a week in a hydro..

I'm in coco and have been using it every 3 days to 8 days now for about 2 mos.... finally got a good crop off though... these fuckers are worse than mites any day... cause u don't see em eat on the plant.... instead they are eating the plants guts out.. undetected except for the curling leaves and spotting dying leaves... and ferts don't help cause the plants uptake system is compromised
