Root broke in DWC

So one of about 15 or so of the roots snapped off from the rootball in one of my buckets. What do I need to do at this point? Will the root start growing again?

So far everything seems to be fine except I worry about more roots breaking off. Going to have to be gentle when pulling it up from the bucket to change out the resevoir.

I'll come back and answer my question as time goes on, I suspect the root that broke is going to start decomposing in the root ball so I'll use some hygrozyme to help it break down. I hope that root will start growing again but expect the plant will probably be stunted =(

you don't want a dead bit of root floating around your hydro tank,

i would snip it off with a clean instrument and then lob it in the bin if it is bad,

although if it is not detached, looks healthy and fine (white and not browning etc) then you obviously leave it.

your plants should be fine regardless.
