Room Temps to High

I do not understand heat exchange i guess, I have fought this since day one. Say a guy had a room running 2400watts and his high temps are in the mid 90's; why can't a 750cfm with a Carbon scrubber keep the room temps down to at least 80 degrees? I would assume the room would have a fan pulling air in and another circulating the room air. None of the lights would be in a sealed hood. Oh please do lend some insight...

Obviously, adding AC would help but would hurt the total power consumption. Do you literally have to bull air direct from the outside before it helps?

No, but you have to control the temps with ac and a lot of airflow. If your scrubber is located at the ceiling, it will exhaust the hot air, to another room, or outside, I just use the next room. I run six fans including my 750 scrubber to cool my room with 2K, and have to leave the door open to provide enough air flow or heat builds up. Add airflow till it stays cool enough.

Thanks man for the reply, I like to have things automated, it sounds like I need to add AC Unit and and suck it up :cuss: I guess the Pro's with the Sealed rooms pull heat off the hoods direct is really the only type solution with any kind of wattage. I just figured with that kinda of pull from an inline fan740cfm it would control the temps. Any bigger fan and I am going to be bulling all the air out of my house...

how big is the room?

Where is the incoming air coming from?

Room size=9x7x9
temps inbound are not controlled environment but are lower than outside temps. I pull the air from a 14 x 24 hole with a air filter blocking it.
