Room Improvments

So I wanted to share this bc i thought it was kinda cool. Instead of having my 40gal rez's under my tables, I put 1 big 150gal rez down two floors below my room into the basement. The one big rez now feeds four 4x4 tables.... Its 150gal rubbermaid livestock feeder, with a drain on the bottom for easy emptying. Also with it being in the basement, everything is concrete, and i actually have to heat the water a bit with an aquarium heater to get it to a nice 65 degrees, a lot cheaper and easier than having to buy chillers for each of the rez's if they were still in the room. Each table obviously has a fill hose and a drain hose, each run is about 50ft, about 30ft of that 50ft is vertical. It is ran through the heat ducting of the house. I have 1900gal per hour utility pumps from home depot feeding the tables, 1 pump is split to feed two tables, for a total of two pumps for the four tables. Now all of my water is contained in the concrete basement, which is a lot easier on the house. Also bc I dont have to have rez's under the tables anymore, Im gonna be able to take the tables out of the stands and set them on cinder blocks to get a couple extra feet. Its alot easier and faster to maintain one master rez instead of four individual ones. here are some pics

You should be proud man.I think the main reason for the lack of responses is that people can't really add to something so smart and seemingly advanced [to me].Note that this is coming from a soil grower so I really don't know what I'm talking about lol.I just noticed your thread basically not getting any responses and honestly wondered why. It's good man real good,in my unprofessional opinion. Now set those traps bro!

Thanks guys! its been a work in progress... Got rid of the table stands, and now the tables just sit on cinder blocks, so i am able to use the full 8ft height of the rooms, minus 8 inches that the cinder blocks account for. I also put the rez on cinder blocks, the rez has a bottom drain all hooked up now with a valve and a hose that leads right to the water waste of the house, so now changing it is as easy as turning a valve, also installed a float valve in the rez, so now i can turn the water on and walk away... instead of having to watch it fill, works great for changing as well as topping off rez. Also we no rats... the room that the rez is in for what we can figure was used as a bomb shelter from the previous owners as far as we can tell, there were bunk beds and weird shit in there he took out when he bought the house (probaly cold war days), and before that we think it was used as a cold shelter, its totally concrete. But the rest of the basement besides that room is finished
