So I wanted to share this bc i thought it was kinda cool. Instead of having my 40gal rez's under my tables, I put 1 big 150gal rez down two floors below my room into the basement. The one big rez now feeds four 4x4 tables.... Its 150gal rubbermaid livestock feeder, with a drain on the bottom for easy emptying. Also with it being in the basement, everything is concrete, and i actually have to heat the water a bit with an aquarium heater to get it to a nice 65 degrees, a lot cheaper and easier than having to buy chillers for each of the rez's if they were still in the room. Each table obviously has a fill hose and a drain hose, each run is about 50ft, about 30ft of that 50ft is vertical. It is ran through the heat ducting of the house. I have 1900gal per hour utility pumps from home depot feeding the tables, 1 pump is split to feed two tables, for a total of two pumps for the four tables. Now all of my water is contained in the concrete basement, which is a lot easier on the house. Also bc I dont have to have rez's under the tables anymore, Im gonna be able to take the tables out of the stands and set them on cinder blocks to get a couple extra feet. Its alot easier and faster to maintain one master rez instead of four individual ones. here are some pics
