where do we vote?

the one thing that I did not like what Ron Paul said was the people getting off of government dependency... This means private corporations will still have control of our health and the costs correct?

Mr. Paul needs more than our votes. He needs cash otherwise he will not last through the primary races.
Send Ron money or start a drive for his campaign.

THEN vote for him.

I like everything Ron Paul says, I especially like how he is a consistent talker and not only that but you can understand every word that he says.

But after watching sicko *yea movies do that to you =/* it made me think more about health insurance. So Ron Paul wants us to not depend on the government and lower taxes meaning private businesses will have more control of the market correct? Which would mean they could really punish you with health insurance and whatever they want?

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just trying to learn.

Thats great he wants pot legal but thats about the only thing i agree with him on. I can't vote for someone on just 1 issue. Another thing, he can make all the promises he wants but still has to work with the congress to get anything done. Peace and *bong* :friends:

I got the impression he was referring more to welfare than medical. In that case, I'm all for it.

I agree that health costs are outrageous, but I don't think putting that in the hands of the government is the answer. Look how great our government is doing with healthcare now, denying people the safest medicine found to date

yea but when the first thing the lady at the desks as when she looks at your cut off hand is "do you have insurance?" then you know things are messed up. thats the reason to private insurance companies, government is not controling them they can do whatever they want.

True, if you don't have insurance, healthcare is ridiculously high.

I don't know the solution, but I cringe at the thought of yet another thing the government can screw up, especially relating to my health. Plus, I don't want a gov't agency knowing I smoke pot.

And the gov't getting into free enterprise is something I'm not too keen on either.

Like I said, I don't have the solution, but these ideas just make me feel like we're taking another step toward socialism.

i like Paul more than most of the field, but if I had to vote today, it would be for Gravel

I don't know what Gravel's position is on legalization, but someone involved in making that campaign video was high. No question.

I think gravel is for legalization.

As far as his new campaign videos...I think they had to be blazed as fuck to make those videos. Funny as hell but not the way you get americans to vote for you!

With all the talk of Bloomberg running I could live with a bloomberg/paul ticket as mayor bloomberg has enough money to to make sure they would be on the ballots and then you would here more of ron paul in the mainstream media.

I was going to vote for Ron, but after hearing his platform on abortion... no way.
I'm completely against pro-life.

to be honest, abortion is the last thing the american people should be concerning themselvses with. we have much more important issues that need immediate attention!
