This isn't exactly computing from the PC or Apple stance, but really is about computing.
I used to listen to Pandora through a Roku box and piped through my surround sound system. Great sound, just music, no commercials, unlike Pandora's regular online PC stuff for some reason (don't worry, they'll FIX that
). I could even shut off the TV after setting it up, thought I was saving energy. DOH!
I found out THAT set up was actually chewing up gobs of bandwidth. Yesterday, I listened to Pandora only couple hours that way. Used 70MB in just 2 hours. Whoa, I was screwing the pooch doing that all the time before. Still great sound though, of just your favorite artists, and no commercials, very versatile and fun too, just way piggish.
