heheh... right on Brainy. I think this will only appeal to those who were prep'n to spend 100.00+ for a good macro lense on their digi cam. A toy..but cool as shit none the less. I'll throw some pics up once it arrives as it should be just in time for the ML's trichs to be examined

Those models are quite expensive and using a hand held microscope is going to be next to impossible to keep in focus.

They sell stands for extra $, but they still look flimsy.

I own an old Intel Play QX3 microscope and the focusing platform is very cheesy so getting good focus is hard. It does 10x-60x-200x. They sell a newer model, the QX5 that has better resolution and does 640x480 pics. I've heard that the focusing platform is just as cheap as the QX3. I originally bought mine for taking photos of coins and it works brilliantly for that. Where it suffers is the focal plane, it's not very thick, so pics of leaves are VERY hard since they rarely sit flat like a coin.

All that said, I sure will be interested in your results with this microscope. If the focal plane is thicker and your able to keep a focus, I might consider buying one.
