Rock Candy

hey all... ive been pondering the possibility of medicating some rock candy..

anyone ever made rock candy before?

the process is pretty simple really

when using the super saturated solution to create the crystals.. would you think an addition of tincture would feasibly work? generally food coloring and or flavor are added when the solution is finished... this is when i was thinking of using the tincture.

tell me what y'all think.. different approaches welcome..

As long as one adds the tinch to the candy solution when it has cooled to under 100 degrees F, it SHOULD be good!! How bout posting a recipe after you test it!!! pax

can do my man. im guessing mid november will be when i start this project.. i need to procure more source material for tincture.

theoretically i could try a small batch right now..

does rock candy take butter to make ? if so try some budder and a little extra flavor it works for the old time sheet candy recipe. 1.5 bottles / 1.5 drams of flavor to give it that extra canna hiding ability
