Hey all,
Had a few questions I was hoping I could get some insight to from the knowledge base.
I was looking to move to somewhere in the Valley/Bay/Norcal area sometime this coming year. I no longer use MMJ, however I have a degree in horticulture and greenhouse technology and was hoping that once relocated that I might be able to start a small grow-op for some supplemental income and to just generally help out those in need.
Questions:
1.What is required to become a LEGAL Caregiver?
Do I just need to apply for a license to cultivate or would it be better (or required) to have a MMJ use license under the pretense of growing for personal use? The latter seems kind of a sketchy idea to me since it would be under false pretense.
2. Is there a LEGAL way of becoming a Caregiver without needing to distribute to a dispensary?
I'd prefer if I were just cultivating for a few peoples personal use.
3. If I was able to cultivate legally as a Caregiver, what would be the largest concerns I'd have as far as laws I'd need to adhere to?
The ever changing county requirements for example?
I'm not looking to get rich or live off of this, just something that I really enjoy doing and have always wanted to do without having the ever looming feeling of paranoia hanging over my head. And at the same time bringing someone some joy and/or relief is good enough for me.
Thanks in Advance for any or all pieces of wisdom or advice anyone may have.
