Ripper seeds?

I hope this is the correct forum. If not, I apologize..

I'm thinking of purchasing my first feminized seed packs from Ripper Seeds. Any info or experience would be greatly appreciated.

They are from up the road here in Sabadell, I know a couple of the guys connected to them


Their stuff is F2 of classic Dutch strains, and as such, nothing special at all. I was accidentally given their "Toxic" an incredibly imaginative cross of Critical and Amnesia which went to the bin, as bud it seems to be critical, but is slightly stronger, but nevertheless is dismissed as critical by most... it has less yield than Critical and longer flowering time, so, is effectively totally useless.

There are so many other options, I strongly prefer the few breeders who actually breed, Chimera, Karma, ACE/Cannabiogen.... They all have fire

Another tipical commercial spanish seedbank...
I remember that they appeared on spanish forums saying things like that they offered "stabilized F1's and not stabilized F1's" (...).
They made clear that there was no breeding involved.
That and all those fancy drawings and names makes them look like a seedbank for newbies and kids. Just my opinion.

Ripper Seeds, best name ever, quite descriptive lol. Basically their foundational work is based on S1s and random hybrids from classic clones circulating around Spain that were shared on forums (Critical Mass, Amnesia, Black Domina, Cheese, NYCD, Lavender, Grapefruit and so on). It used to be pretty common that once someone ends with a handful of decent clones, he starts a seedbank from the scratch. Easy money call.

They are even ripping off clones from other underground Spanish companies as Delicatessen, since their Acid Dough= Lilly X OG Kush. No credt at all for Delicatessen at their website. They've recently put their hands over a friend's keeper and said they wanted to cross it for their catalogue as well.

I guess if that's what you are looking for, go for it. Otherwise, don't support this kind of shady breeding practices, it's definitely not what the scene needs at all... but that's how most people works nowadays anyway, isn't it?

Awesome info! Definitely a lot of that going on here in the US as well. Being a longtime skater their sweet packaging certainly appealed to me. Glad I asked! I want to support people that have put in the work. I'd love to get some beans from Chimera, love his info on hash church! Thanks for the responses!

Interesting as always Mustafunk, I had also spotted Lilly being used by them, but being a kind soul who likes to believe the best in people, I had assumed it was some agreed collaboration, not direct ripping.

Still, thats what the name says...


Weedwell, you can add Delicatessen to that list as well, available from Cannabiogen and others, well worked Sativa Dom plants

Yeah I've also noticed the designs by Joel Abad, definitely inspired on the classic graphics by Jim Phillips and the oldschool skater scene from California.

It seems they were sponsoring some skateboarding and urban events too but anyway, being a skater, a hippie or a rasta and being a professional are quite different things IMHO. Acts speak louder than stereotypes.
