I'm saddened by the news. He was my favorite Miller Lite shill, before they had the "Tastes Great/Less Filling" campaign. You can find the commercial on YouTube, Joe F singing is a timeless treat.
And his death reminds me of the lyrics to 'Say It Ain't So Joe":

RIP JOE! its a shame when someone great is opt out of this world due to a nasty disease. But either way hes in a better place

RIP Smokin' Joe...I saw all of his big fights on TV when I was young...he was relentless, always walking up bobbing, weaving and throwing big ones....a great fighter.
check out the jaw of Ali in the pic above, you can see it was broken, ....call Ali a show pony and big mouth, but he fought over ten rounds with a broken jaw, every "tap" from Smokin' Joe must of sent a shock of pain through his head.

RIP Joe. Every time I play a boxing game I always look for Joe. He was my favorite boxer of all time, I just loved his style. Hope the afterlife treats Joe well.
