Rigid Foam Instead of Drywall?

Hey guys I saw a suggestion in another thread to use reflective 1" rigid foam instead of drywall for walls. Curious if there is anyone with experience doing this? 3/4 walls will be interior walls with drywall on the outside surface, pink batts inside the wall, visqueen vapor barrier for smell, and either rigid foam or drywall on the interior of the walls. 16" OC 2x4 framing. I thought it might be nice to have the lightweight foam panels to hang, extra insulation, and a built in reflective surface. I realize they might not be quite as tough as drywall but it seems like they might get the job done. Thoughts? -------- Also, any thoughts on the visqueen vapor barrier (for odor seepage) causing mold issues? Dehumidifier keeping things at 50-60%. Thanks!

I'm about to use 2" foam board. http://www.lowes.com/pd_15357-1278-...L=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=

The only issue is that you pretty much can't hang anything on a foam board wall.
I use HVAC foil tape on all the seams for complete air-tightness. The reflective surface isn't very reflective at all. I end up gluing Orca film over the baord using a can of 3M contact glueI don't see any probs with the way you want to use it but not sure about the Visqueen VB...

if your looking for rigid foam board with R value that blow EPS foam away
get polyisocynaurate, its the yellowish tan foam.
go to a roofing supply place, they have thickness from 1" --->3"
or more. its 3Xs stronger than EPS and doesn't leave those annoying little white thingies everywhere when you work with it.
the beauty with it is the thicker the board is the R-value doesn't increase
proportionately with thickness.
say 1"=R7, a 2" may = R18.
it has a thick paper ply almost like cardboard that can be painted and sealed.
Ive read it off gasses but i had no probs,
as long as it wasn't produced last week you should be fine
