man that's weird ......... sometimes i look at it and she's turning clockwise, but then sometimes - and instantaneously - she turns the other way, as if sometimes the left side of my brain is doing the perception, and then bang my right side takes over

But the article seems to suggest people either see it one way or the other ... am i just a freak? anybody else see it both ways ???

sometimes she changes directions right in front of my eyes as im watching her. Mostly i see her going clockwise though, about 90%+ of the time

I know, I have had this problem before. I always feel like that guy fat guy in the movie Mall Rats that stares at the picture with the hidden picture for hours with these types of art.

I can only see it clockwise, cool stuff, I already knew I was left handed / right brained.

if you can only see it one way try looking at it out of the corner of your eye. Also try looking away and then back a few times. Sometimes it took nearly a minute before she started spinning the other way

Trippy stuff, took about 30 seconds to stop spinning counter-clockwise then I was able to switch back and forth without much trouble. Good post.

what the **** how can you say it's clockwise or not? if you were looking down at her from above, i could see it being clockwise or counterclockwise but with this point of view where you're looking at her from the side she doesn't turn like a ****ing clock she spins like a top. she either spins left or right, she doesn't turn clockwise or counterclockwise!

im assuming that when she's turning left they consider that to be clockwise, cuz if you were looking down at her from above it would be clockwise (even though it's NOT clockwise when you're looking at her from this point of view). is that what you guys were thinking, too?

btw most of the time for me she's turning left and i was staring at her for a long time without being able to get her to go the other direction, but just now i was focusing on the shadows from her feet and how they look really wierd, specifically the raised foot seems like it's casting a shadow that isn't really the way it should be, and anyways when i was focusing on her shadows i looked up and she was turning the other direction for like half a second and then she switched back to turning left, now i can't get her to switch directions again

Whenever I try to find out why it's going one way or the other, it goes counter-clockwise and I'm stuck wondering why. After 5 seconds or so, I get sick of wondering and just say f*** it. Once I stop caring, it goes clockwise. I guess indifference and laziness is a sign of being right-brained or...... :joint:

the video changes over time. she spins clockwise while her right leg is raised. it then switches over to counter-clockwise while her left leg is raised.

Taken from another board:

"If you're a right brain like me, you will notice that if you start reading the list on the left she turns anticlockwise and if you go back to looking at her then back to the list BUT without focusing on one particular part of the list and reading it fast but still focusing on the words, she goes clockwise again.

This shows that when you focus on one specific thing, the left part of your brain goes to work and when you look at everything, the right brain gets to work. Peace."
