Rigging a tent frame

I have a small tent that came into my possession. I'd like to set it up for a little veg nursery... the problem is that is has little to no frame.

There shouldn't be any problems with using PVC eh? I probably won't be hanging any lights from the framework, I'd just stick a shelf inside for that.

Thanks

id use wood before i used pvc.

if you have a steel supply place around you can get some of that cheap shitty square china made "ornimental" steel tubing.

its the stuff they use to build custom gates and fences. its not pvc cheap, but its pretty cheap.

Using cheap metal will probably result in them going rusty.

If its only a small tent pvc will be fine or wood if you prefer.

Peace

I would just purchase a new tent and frame from amazon for $200 or less and not have the headaches of trying to do it yourself.

PVC and dowels (wooden) inside PVC for added camber/strength.

2x4's and 2x1's work great as does PVC. I do not buy tents. I build em. 100$ for a big roll of panda and some
Lumber and you are in business waaaaay cheaper.

i absolutly despise radiant barrier products, however some of them are quite well made and very resiliant... materially speaking.

you can get this foil faced, fiber reinforced material that is very tear resistant and fairly fire retardant.
its like.... 2 bucks a square installed by low wage laborers. the material itself must be cheaper. a dollar a square i bet.

perhaps investigate this as an alternative to panda film? i only mention this because LDPE plastic sheeting is not resistant to flames and will emit lots of harsh smoke in any fire.

I know secret jardin sells parts like tubing and corners maybe your tent manufacturer could set you up with a frame...I just doubt it would be cheap...sounds like a pain in the ass id just get a new one from amazon
