rigging a pressure activated alarm system

I want to set something up outside that is pressure activated, like when stepped on, or if something is moved, it will trigger a siren or something. If anyone is snooping near my ride, I want to know. I was also thinking of putting something in front of it, so if they move it, the siren will go off.

any ideas? I was thinking of a simple switch connected to some relay powering a siren or even a radio turned up full blast.

Great idea, unless you aren't home when the sirens go off and the neighbors call 911. You are growing tomato's, right. Motion sensor security lights, much better idea, and not so many that the numbers draw unnecessary attention to your Digs.

too hightech a simple motion detector will work wonders...you can get it set to ring in your house or turn on a light in your bedroom at nite....wait a sec you said for your ride get a damn car alarm!! LOL

you can buy a little device that looks kinda like a pager with a wire attached to it. when the wire is pulled, it emits a really loud noise. it'd be simple to rig up a tripwire on it. not sure where to buy one, I got mine at a garage sale, maybe look at a hardware store near the pepper spray?

another thing is a simple motion sensor. pretty much just a remote battery powered sensor that transmits to an alarm. should be able to pick one up for $10-20, not sure where(ebay?). I use mine in my backyard facing the alley in the event someone jumps the fence, works fairly well for the price.

OK to be honest its to let me know when the repo man is around. I already had the truck repoed once and I am not going to let it happen again. I already know the repo laws and the repo man can not FORCE a repo. Its a civil matter and LEO will not uphold it if called. Basically if you go out and he is on your property, you can take any means neccessary to protect your property. Yes I have researched this and have been told by numerous local officers, my truck, my property, repo or not, I can protect my property.

So with that being said, I simply need a way to find out when hes snooping around. First he has to walk to the drivers side and check the VIN. Then he has to hook the tow truck up. My goal is to be notified when he is checking the VIN, or hooking the tow truck up. If I put a garbage can in front of the truck, he has to move it and I want it to trigger an alarm or radio in my bedroom to wake me up.

I have 2 dogs but they didnt do much good last time.

And yes I am trying to pay the payments but shit happens and we get behind, I am working on it.

Take off 1 front and 1 back wheel on opp. corners ( then it can't be towed)....it's a PITA but after a few days you will get used to doin it and it will keep yur ride safe....til' ya' git' caught up
