rice krispy treats

Im about to make my butter, wanting to make some fairly potent butter so im going to use 2oz of vaped bud and half pound of butter. I was going to make some brownies, and will probably make some after i try out the butter. First off i decided to try making rice krispy treats because they are easy and fast to make, but im concerned that the directions i have wont make very stong treats. It calls for only 3 tablespoons of butter. I have read some where that you can use a 1/4 of butter to make them.

If anyone has an easy recipie for some potent rice krispy treats it would be a great help!

so after looking at the butter and realizing that 4 tablespoons= 1/4 cup. So i dont know if that will be enough butter to get a good stong high. Im going to make butter using 2 sticks of butter (1/2 LB) with 2oz vaped leftovers.

made some rice krispy treat, and used 4 tablespoons of butter. I only used to sticks of butter and only got about 4 tbls from it after letting it separate. I just ate one and so did my girl so we'll see how they turn out in the next hour or two. Ive tried edibles in the past made by different people and only got minimal effect from any of them. Hope these do something more, or at least gets my girl ripped!

i dont cook much but does it make sense to make canna-budder from vaped weed? arent you trying to extract the thc from weed into the butter and not cbd/cbn? the vape pretty much takes care of the thc in the bud leaving you with some really heavy hitting cannabanoids. i think they will make you feel something...tired etc. i woulda just dumped the vaped weed in the mix and just eatin' crispies w/ weed cripsies!

either way enjoy!

Most of your potency/butter was left in the vaped pieces that you threw away. Vaped bud being very dry absorbs a lot of the solvent you are trying to trap the thc into.

I just made a batch of brownies with 42g of vaped weed. Most potent batch to date! I use a press I made out of a c-clamp and a small can. With a few washers placed between the clamp and the can to distribute the pressure, you can really crank on the can to squeeze all the last goodies out.

I used 1 cup of veg oil with 10g at a time double boiling on a stove for 30 minutes. I would then press the material and be left with a puck of vaped bud. The oil would go back into the double boiler with the next 10g of material. After all the runs, I would be slightly lower than a cup (3/4) which was lost in the material. To gain some back I re-fluffed the pucks and added 1/3 cup of oil to the processed bud. Mix thoroughly and then put it back into the press. This would get me back to the full cup of oil that I started with, and the remaining oil in the processed bud with little potency.

That batch was the most potent I have ever made. I cut them into 25 pieces which came out to 1.68g each brownie. This was the amount I always used in the past when I would use cheese cloth and hand squeeze the oil out. I ate half a brownie and was way more blazed than one of my previous ones. I now eat a quarter of a brownie and am very satisfied. Thats only .42g of vaped bud!

One of my friends ate a whole one and ended up passing out. One of his friends ate 1.5 and was barely functional. The next day he couldn't even remember what happened.

Presses are by far the way to go.

i dont throw mine away. it goes into a film canister and i use it for those nights i cant get to bed or wake up in the middle of the night. and i thought thc stuck to fat molecules?

You saved the bud that was covered in butter? Do you just eat it to use it?

Thc does tick to fat molecules. But unless your vaped bud comes out dry after you cook it, there is still some of that fat stuck in those remains. Unless you flush it out, it will remain in there and not be used.

sorry bro youve lost me now....

i wouldnt use vaped bud for canna butter. i used it as "3 in the morning weed" for when i wake up in the middle of the night with pains. i have and use a vaporizer and the remains contain very little thc unless you set your temp under 380* i guess.

and im not quite sure why you say there is fat in vaped bud?

when i make budder i boil trim, leaves, etc in water for 3 hrs with a stick of butter in it. strain the plant material out and set the butter in the fridge to harden and then cook with it. if i used vaped bud id probably eat one and pass out with all the cbd in there.

Vaped bud works great in rice crispy treats, just add some cinnamon and vanilla to the mix, then sprinkle mexican chocolate (ibarra) on top.

When I make my crispies, I always tailor the recipe to how much budder I have. Plop in a few marshmellows until the mush is right and mix in as much krispies as needed.
