Rhino Low: Semi-AF?

My first run with Rhino low from the Bay, I vegged under 24/0 and flowered under 12/12. They were kick ass short plants.

My second run with them, I have them under 18/6 and only half of them have started to flower after 45 days. Is this one a true autoflower?

Never heard of Rhino Low myself. Who breeds it?

Why did you put them under 12/12 ?

Some strains can have a tendency to flower under 18/6 so maybe the 12/12 triggered the flowering and it continued under the 18/6. While the phenos on the other side did not flower and stayed in veg.

I would say you need to run them under 24/7 or for that matter any new unknown untested strain to determine if it is a true AF or not.

S_a_H im pretty sure this is his second run, and he either bought more seeds or made his own, im guessing he did 12/12 for lower light costs( unlikely) or for cooling problems. either way take the ones that are autoflowering, and let them seed up, once you do that those seeds will be 75% autoflower compared the the 50% u got now, after a couple runs of killing runts/ low potency/ undesirable/ non autoflower plants and breeding the best af's you should have your own personal selection of pure autoflowering plants

I looked at the Bay and the listing is no longer up, so I couldn't tell you. The genetics are (white rhino x lowryder) x lowryder.

Who else wants nugs quickly? :joint: They were vegged for a few weeks under 24/0 on the first run, but I got impatient and did put them under 12/12, regardless of them being (semi?) AF.

Your assumptions are correct. The first run was 12/12. The second run, they are under 18/6 for a veg and only half have AF'd. My conclusion is that Rhino Low has AF traits, but it isn't stabilized yet.
