Hóla everyone!!!

BH: I was at the belief, that you flowered your CG & that grazy oldschool Mexican 12/12 from seed.. I think I could also have 15 that sized plants under my 250 W and I really would like to try it someday, but like you, all my plants are different sized and it would demand dramatic changes to my grow style to try it now! But I definetely would like to try it and make compare the yield for a couple of these bonzai plants! You got the pure swazi from Seedsman btw?

HombreDeBarro: It´s always nice to see your pics of those sativas you grow, so please keep em coming

Hiya herbalistic

No, I had a second grow space with a vertical 250 and I grew the Colombian Gold, Mexican, Zamal/Haze etc. in there. They were all vegged until they showed sex. I then used LST to control the height. They were all pruned in veg to grow horizontally. I am going to try the Colombian Gold 12/12 from seed sometime, just to see how it turns out. Yes, the Swazi, Durban and Malawi I have are from Seedsman, they bought a bulk load from African Seeds so they are exactly the same as African Seeds versions.

Here's some wet 'n wild vegging outdoor sativas for y'all. Wet is for the soil conditions and wild is for the plants' reaction to it. Apart from some yellowing fanleaves and bug attacks they're fine though. I provided them with some Calgel (N + Ca) and ATA Max organic ferts just now. Wasn't planning on giving them any complementary nitrogen at first, but I hope a little will prevent them from developing new deficiencies before going into flower. Also the calcium should be a welcome addition to their menu.

To freshen up your memory; two Ecuador sativas, one Haze Special and four TMBs... :bandit:

Yes, the Swazi I grew was Nirvana's, I also have a pack of pure Swazi waiting in the wings.

Hey everyone, Here’s a pic of the main stem of one of the DP’s I just pulled today, I topped her when she was very young so she grew two leading branches, I then split her even further and did some extreme LST’ing on all the secondary braches to keep her extremely low. My goal was to turn all vertical growth into horizontal growth. I experimented with two plants this way and it was relatively successful although the yield was very low because they flowered too late.

Well at least I have some bud too keep me going until my cabinet’s up and running. :joint:

This is what she looked like (that bit of damage on the right hand side was from a rat a while back):

Cheers.

I find that most sativas respond extremely well to training, I find that if I let them grow to 6-7 nodes then bend them over so the main stem is almost horixontal, the side branches will explode and you get a dozen or so colas and a much shorter, bushier plant that fits into smaller grows. The technique I found to work best is to tie them doen at 6-7th node, then veg another week or maybe two to let the side branches grow out to 2-3 inches in height, then flip to 12/12 and those side branches all end up as 12-18 inch colas.

Ok, here are couple pics of Neville´s Haze right before harvest, I have removed some mature buds for the last couple days, but here is what was left today:

Buds are trimmed now and Herbalistic is going to get ready for NH dry sift session.

I agree with you British Hempire that sativas/sativadominants respond quite often well to training.

That's a big ole bush of bud you have there Herbalistic. You'll be able to smoke on that for a while.

Sam's OH x Sk #1. My only female out of the seeds I popped. Got 3 males growing right along side her. I had started them indoors but bug problems had me throwing them to the outdoors. They like it outside better. It took 30 days of 12/12 to find the first hint of preflowers on the female.

Rootbinding and that technique is the only way I can get some of these ladies to finish.

Best sativa strain currently available

Best sativa strain currently available

As a matter of opinion....what beans are currently available on seedbay that produce the best sativa high? I'm talking about an energetic, cerebral, and somewhat psychedelic type of high.

To be even more specific: High THC, Low cannaboid, with a Medium to High Yield.

you want some 100% sativa, read the descriptions on some seed shops and they should tell you strength and if its 100% sativa

Thanks Ojd. I am really trying to feel out the crowd favorite. I'm not rich even by my own low standards... which means I have to choose my beans wisely. I'm really after the connoisseur's smoke. Something that knocks everyone on their respective asses in its own unique sativa way.

Herbalistic what kind of stress delayed flowering were you worried about exactly? I've done it to a decent amount of strains and never had that problem honestly. The only ones that delayed flowering were strains that were predispositioned to veg'n under that light regime. = tropical sats that do so anyway. But I might me misunderstanding what you're asking or meant by that perhaps?

@Nubie

if your looking for that super psychedelic stuff I gotta reccomend haze. its up to you what cross, SSH is expensive, if you wanna do some cheap seeds and some searching for a clone nirvana has a vew haze hybrids that will knock you around with the right clone. quality varies.

I've had some psychedelic experiences off of jack herer that were as good as alot of decent shrooms.

Can you guys believe I've never smoked Kali Mist? In all my years the only bag I ever saw of it was when I was on probation and couldn't smoke. Smoked upwards of twenty different hazes and hybrids but never once that damn kali mist. I guess I'm going to have to grow it when I can start growing again. everyone speaks highly of it. I just hate spending that much on seeds of weed I never smoked before. I'm so used to getting seeds free that when they are ten bucks a seed and stuff I have to REALLY want it.

depends on the sativa. one of my favorites is hawaiian sativa. and flowered from seed it will stay between 1 and less than 3 ft. if you had an SWC growmedium and a short sativa not much at all.

Thanks Motaco

I guess I will start them 12/12 and try to revert some clones after sex shows.

no prob. how short is your cieling? be careful with the reveggin. it usually works but I lost one of my most favorite plants ever from a failed reveg.
