Some attempts of growing some sativa from the spanish pyrenees in holland. The one on the last two pics smelled flowery-sweet but finished late. The one on the first pic was ok though.

Raco, regarding you mutant leaves I used to have this issue with my pure sativas as well. I fixed it by foliar feeding my vegging plants with a bacterial tea first (www.bountea.com) mixed with 25% of the recommended organic fertilizer. Usually I spray on in the evening so the microorganisms don’t get too hot from the sun or lights and they have a chance to do their thing.
I will also use the tea without nutrients to water the roots about every two weeks. I never put added fertilizer to the roots or need additives in the soil and my Malawi, CG, and Thai seem to love it. When the plants start to flower then I stop foliar feeding and switch root feeding.

yes, a very informative thrad. it was like a mini sativa semiare. Motaco you are a true sativa cannasouir
motaco are you in the south east part of the country. I live in the reigon and I've been seeign quite a bit of popcorn mid. and yes that's a nickname for a particular mid. that's common in the south. have you heard of it. I'm sure there are many different strins refered to as popcorn. but when you talking about mid-grade. so called popcorn always has for the most part the sameish smell, taste and look. it runs $35-40 per 1/4 or $10 per G. it has a smooth floral smell/tase with a tiny hint of lemonish-pine in the back. not harsh at all. the buds are dence but not nugget dence.
also there is a mid variety I see from time to time that is a more dence, soft, bumpy/lumpy nugget that when you handle it it just begins to crumble into pellets but it you gently sqeeze the bud it's spongy. it has a buttery smooth taste/smell. very mild smell. not over powering at all but pleasant. this mid is usually pretty common too. seems like it's grown domestic becasue you can often find it in thick nugget form with a seed or two for $10 a g.

no I don't know anything about either of them. I wish I did. we haven't been seeing shit around here lately. I'd kill for some good cheap mids.
after katrina its pretty much been a replay of the late 80's early 90's. we should start drinking 40's again seriously. the only thing that has been around is low quality beaster like I haven't seen since when it was called endo and schwag. its been a particularly bad year for weed quality as well as alot of other things around here.
hopefully this next year will be better quality. but probably not judging by the price and quality of produce.

Not anymore they quit bothering to lie. You ask if its any good and they're like "nah man it sucks" but everybodys weed sucks so its not like your going to go look that hard.

you guys are really hurting over there. there is quite a bit of mid where I live. for the most part, lately there is no need to bother with reggie(regular schwag) mid seems be be quite abundant.
for independence day concert celibration I picked up a g of some mid called "Arizona" for $10... well, that's what the guy said it was. some people just say bud is from out of state to move it quick. it looked like the popcorn except it had more red hairs and had more of a lemon almost anise flavor rather than the floral. well I did find one seed in the bud. it sprouted over night
male or fem, I plan to use this so called "arizona" for breeding. it's a good feeling to find fairly decent genetics without ordering seeds.
I ordered some wild durban form african seeds back in 99' that I lost
. that was my only ever experience of ordering seeds. my situation is not ideal for ordering through the mail so I have to work with bagseed for now. but that's okay with me. plus it's fun collecting seeds from bagseed.

guys you should check out youtube and type in "jamaica ganja"
they got some cool videos. you can see rastas growing those shitty little indicas that are about 6 inches tall and 4 grams.
but you can also see some older strains around in some videos. plants that adapted to look like stereotypical jamaicans.
There are a good bit of them. I ended up watching different jamaican grows for like an hour.
I was surprised to see how many sativas alot of them were still growing. I thought there were more indicas out there. they had some sad indica videos too though.

I don't particularly like them but I had alot of trouble finding pics where both the bud and the photo itself was a decent quality.

I wonder how much it costs to fly to Ghana from the UK? I imagine living costs would be cheap once there. I reckon I could have some fun in Ghana if I took a set of bubblebags! lol
One thing I have heard is that rolling papers are like gold dust in Ghana. I would take a load of those big 500 packet boxes and gladly hand em out to folks. I'd get the address of someone and send them a box every few months, hate to think they have to use newspaper to roll joints, yeuch.

and onion peels. if u havent tried that u should..
id smoke one made with oinion peel (the thin see thru film thats inbetween each layer of onion) any day before news paper - cant even imagine how horrible that should be.
the onion peel thing is really easy - just take the thin film thing out - spread out a piece, put ur cut bud inside in normal rolling fashion, roll it - and then to make the skin get smokeable u dry it with a lighter or in the sun - its quick and taste far better than the leda ones.. and YES it kind of seethru and taste sweet to smoke hehe
also i have smoked quite a few spliffs in dry banana-palm leaf pieces. its actually not that harsh - and stays glued with just saliva.
u dont know what ingenuity is untill u are in the middle of the jungle with a huge lump of compressed colombian and an urge to smoke
