I've found very light application of organic nutes in organic soil have steadily produced buds without any discernible tastes or hints that they haven't been flushed.

Hi Terpene and of course everybody else!

I've found the same! And if you put a little charcoal you can raise your yield as well. But you should be very carefull with the latter, because
if you do it too much your plants will die because of too high PH.
Also you should NEVER grind it & preferably make your own. I have the impression that some brands put in stuff that is really nasty to plants.

The shortening of days starts off slowly from the solstice and then accelerates as the months get closer to the equinox. The day length hovers about the same a week or 2 before and after the solstice and then starts to drop by about a minute a day. In August it will be 2 to 3 minutes a day. At least that’s what happens here at around 40N.

Here up north the days get 6 minutes shorter every day in August. I think we can conclude that the process is slower the closer to the equator you are.

For sure, because it doesn't have as far to go daylength-wise to get to the winter solstice.

Daylight Hours Explorer

At the equator, it never changes. At either pole, it goes from 0 hours sunshine to 24 hours sunshine at the spring equinox. The sun comes up, circles higher & higher in the sky until the summer solstice, then circles lower & lower until it disappears for 6 months at the winter solstice.

Laos Border Thai ready to be cut: my friend who gave me this strain said they didn't handle the monsoon very well. This has also been my experience with very little growth occurring in the cooler wet weather we've had in the last month. Nevertheless I'm very excited about this strain, the structure and high reminds me a lot of my Nimbin Purple sat, and Kangativa's MM, both of which have a very euphoric positive quality. Preliminary smokes of this one have revealed a beautiful high as strong as the pure MM, and with a few months cure, it should develop into something awesome.

I pollinated this one with a Colombian Mangobiche male, which should add some much needed vigor to the flowering. The Mangobiche is also very powerful with more body to the high.

Colombian Mangobiche. This strain has impressed me a lot and slots right into the top shelf. I'd recommend her to anyone searching for a pure tropical sativa that doesn't require tons of selection for plants with outstanding vigor, yield and tropical fruit aromas. I read where Charlie states the flowering times as 16-20 weeks, but I found 12-14 weeks was the norm for me...

Last up is a Nong Khai Thai x Nevil's Haze Madness. The quarter haze has added a touch of mandarin to the funk. The MM has added some steel to the structure. I'm hoping to push the big one another 7 weeks - the Thai mother only showed her extraordinary power after 20 weeks flowering....

Lovely color, have you grown other Colombian strains?
Im just wondering how lumbos compare with thais or other sativas in general, I hear many Lumbos are physical/"stony" in effect.
About the flower time, do you think the Oz sun allows the plant to finish faster?

G`day Rinse

Oz is a big continent .
15 deg where Wally is. 37 deg lat in the far south .

The light in the tropics is pretty epic all year round . Down below 20 deg lat it gets real strong in Summer .
But our clear winter day is prolly brighter than summer in a lotta parts of EU . Just the days are only about 10 -11 hours long . And then there`s the clouds and rain Bushy is talkin about .

We had an Indian Summer in my region .[25 lat] 14- 25 C the last cpl of months . But showers every second day .
Chopped O Haze / Sk this week . Equiv to Early December in Northern Hemi .

Thanks for sharin

EB .

speechless Mr Bushweed, pics say all. Well is great you harvested them in 12-14, maybe needs a longer nightlenght for finishing quicker.
There is some stony in Mangobiche like in other colombianas Rinse, you can feel it in you eyelids, but is also clear, cerebral and long lasting
