I recently grew some Ace Panama. It's a 100% pure sativa cross of several Panamanian IBL strains. I believe there is also some Colombian Punto Rojo in there as well.

Not it seems not, talking to old friend who passed me some of these old seeds, mentioned this panama looked more like a Panama red hair, although effect was in same direction, so euphoric as far as I remember. I made 2 steps with this panama and older panama as first steps of the hybrid. Btw pink hairs didnt came out until F6

So did any of the three used Panamas originally show pink pistils or did it just pop up during breeding?

I didnt noticed it. In third step I added 3 panaman males... but females suffered raquitism and so poor health I couldnt see the female side there
One of 3 males used in third step in the pic
Most thing amazes me of this line is that after 7-8 generations is still so strong and vigorous :) I have had so much fun and lots of satifaction working it

^ kaiki, i want to make sure you know that across the different threads outside of ace, cbg, "strains and hybrids" and "landraces" ppl are posting that panama is a top choice for personal smoke;indoors, outdoors. panama's reputation is strong!

1): of course we all ( i suspect) now want to know about the purplish/red fourth long long flowering Panamam not into ACE hybrid pheno!

2): kaiki, is the panama red cbc in your panama genetics? if so, can you tell us anything about it?

4th Panama was so different, much more equatorial behaviour, one year didnt want to flower in autotum-winter and made a 1 year of straight growth. So nervious and energetic too, bit histerical, cross with Destroyer was offered years ago in some earlier Deluxe Mix.
Well it seems people like hybrid too, I know and Ive read, happy for this
Nothing is mine, I just worked and shared as others did with me. You know breeders are ethereal guys, live in clouds and never eat food just breathing the air is enough for them lol
enjoy

This is probably the first time I see how an Albanian plant should look like if grown indoors.
Nice one.

A report would be very appreciated:)

3rd grow with this polycross

Woody Haze + White Widow originally pollinated with BubbleGum. I had a similar male but G13 in place of WH , which I pollinated one lower branch

Most of the branches are ~3ft long @ 24-30gms each

Taking her down slowly as I hate trimming all at one time.

Here's one cola 23gms, but one is 2.7ozs
wet! Alas I grabbed the wrong image, but it's in my thread. Hey wait, that's the one in the upper left corner. If you look close you can see the stem break. That stem was > 1/2" thick

Thanks for the clarification. It's always nice to hear from those who are in the know. :tiphat:

It's a lovely strain. My compliments to the chefs.

Both look like they'll be tasty Highlighter.
Here's another VanVulpen, this one looked like it was getting close to finish and decided it had not put on enough bud so it regrew the top part with weird misshapen leaves and little buds.

Gonna give this gal a proper name after I smoke her ...hopefully she'll be dry enough by Xmas! Harvested her @ 121 days, getting a metallic, citrusy/sandlewood/peanutty smell, smells dank!!

Many of the bud end of my branches get so heavy they snap the branch. Been looking for a simple way to hold/tie them up

Found this at Bed Bath and Beyond $20 before coupon

28 connecting balls
43 dowels (I plan to replace them with wood + add diagonals to increase strength
)

They sell circle tomato cages that may fit better with grow buckets for $5 bucks apiece.

Heres a J.Lambsbread.
Its in FFOF soil and its too hot for it. When I t/p them from 1's to 3's they will go into 50% HappyFrog and 50% Chunky Perlite.
You can see the tips curling down which indicates too much Nitrogen~

Seems to be reveging randy
Yeah these Zamal have a mind of their own. I have a room full of OG at 6 weeks and they are going off, a ZamalHaze that's in there is just now starting to shoot some flowers. But you know what, I'll do whatever it takes to get that Zhaze finished, cause that stuff is THE shit!
