Are reviews something good to go on when buying seeds online? whether about the company or the reviews they have on the seeds? any thoughts?

There are some very trustworthy places to buy seeds these days. Just depends which country you are in. And what you are looking for.
If you give us some more details on what you're looking for I'm sure we can guide you in the right direction.

Welcome to the forum!!

No, reviews on the sellers websites are not trustworthy in the least. Most of them lie in some way or another, or they just make up the descriptions and reviews. Depends on the honesty of the seller but the average is not good. Even in forums many people get carried away by trends, some of them make up these elaborate fake descriptions in order to seem interesting or cool like this clown who says he sees cartoon dogs coming out of the rug when he smokes Congo which is a mildly energetic, coffee-like strain 😂

Just embarrassing. It's the same as when you are reading reviews about movies online, so you can decide what to watch that night. Some people have similar tastes to you, some opposite, some are just plain stupid and clueless. Doing your research is part of the fun but be sure to check people's credentials and experience before trusting them with your next purchase. I would suggest taking a look at ace seed's website which is a lot less misguiding than most IMO. At least if a strain is low yielding they will say "middle yield" in the description. Otherwise all plants seem to be super productive, super potent, resistant to nuclear radiation and finish in 35 days.

Another big issue in forums especially, is people growing 1-2 seeds of a strain and deciding they are able to judge the strain by those 2 plants, which is deluded. 🤣🤣

If they are crooks then people will make it known. Unfortunately, good people have to get banged before they can review it. That being said, stay away from new unknown breeders and only work with breeders that have been around for a long time. If you don't mind getting banged and taking a risk then buy from the new breeders and try them, but don't put much into it. 😎

I haven’t been able to find any info on US breeders working with pink runtz. Thought of running zkittles and g41 and selecting my own, but that takes so much time/work haha. Anyone know of a reputable breeder working with pink runtz?
