Does any one know if these accept a standard metered aerosol dispenser refill like the time mist? i have one of these and would like to put the ozium standard refills in it. if so these dispensers are about half the price of the timemists thanks.

i have one in the living room, & my bedroom.. like em alot, ive got em on every 9minutes

try the lysol brand sometime, you have to buy the whole deal, but its more of a odor killer than the airwick

I hope its okay to post this here. It's been monumentally helpful to me so I thought someone else might want to give it a look. If this has been posted a lot then I apologize.

Product: Airwick Freshmatic room deodorizer. An automatic air freshener that dispenses a metered burst of freshener at intervals of 9/18/36 minutes. I bought 2. 1 is branded Lysol and is the neutra air "fresh" scent and the other is the Air Wick branded citrus scent. They are the same identical units. It comes with 2 AA batteries.

The units are available at every Target, Walmart, Home Depot for around $11 and the refills are $4.99. Lasts up to 60 days on the 36 minute interval.

These work so much better than any of the other plug in products. Most of the other scent masking products I've tried are too strong or too pungent. They plug into an outlet and put out far too much scent.

I have these both going at opposite ends of the house. Not only do I not smell any cannabis related smells from either smoking or growing, I don't smell any gross potpourri spray smells. It's like having a butler that gives the room a blast of spray every 36 minutes. The only thing worse than a house full of smelly plants is a house that smells like plants and oranges.... lol but this doesn't linger.

This isn't a perfect solution for odor control but it does help an already established system. It also helps with the odor from 2 huge dogs in the house as well.

They can be mounted on the wall with included hardware or set on a high table or shelf. (just nowhere near eye level.........I got sprayed)

The other metered air fresheners I see on the market are geared towards cleaning commercial bathrooms and kitchens and most cost between $50-100.
I want to measure the can and find out if the ozium or ONA refills will fit. That would be a nice treat as well.

it's been two months and I am happy with the product.

Peace

So you have this is your grow space?? How many plants you have?

Pinesol and Water is the best odor masking solution I've ever tried.

Sorry...but I have 5 of these things in my house and they suck. I have one Vapotronic hooked up now...and it produces more fragrance for a longer period of time than all 5 of those misters. $5 a can for refills...and I gotta buy 5 a month to keep the wife happy. She can't stand to see them sit there mt.

Save your money and get a vapotronic if a small odor emitter is what your after.

Sorry to poo poo your review bud....but there's always more stories out there to be heard.

Cheers,
SH

honestly i wouldnt use anything but a carbon scrubber http://www.nationalgardenwholesale.com/detail.php?id=04_AIR&prod=613
i use the 4inch scrubber my local hydro shop charged me 80$ us for the scrubber. another 60$ us for a 95 cfm blower fan. i ran this in my old C25 style cab now it in the master bedroom closet. 7ft x 5ft floor space i have no smell untill i open the closet.

i have the 4inch carbon scrubber before the cooltube a 1k hps in the cooltube and my modded stanely blower fan. ppl who dont smoke cigs or canibis dont have a clue i have a closet full of flowering plants. this stanely exhaust's into attick which the vent for attick is by front door and my exhaust is 3 ft from front door. no smell outside either :) this carbon scrubber is good for 12-24 months depending on how smelly the strains your growing are. i figure tis worth 80$ a yr for peace of mind that no1 can smell my grow.

these things suck if ur gonna use it in the actual grow room
i just use it outside of the room as added protection i have a carbon scrubber
plus the citrus one smells good
once it sprays the smell last for a couple mins at best and i have it on for 9min a burst
also it doesnt help that much for my dogs i can still smell them

all in all i wish i hadnt wasted my money
i think ona and soil moist would b better

Yes....don't even think about using something like this as your main odor control. But I do like the vapotronic in my living areas in case of the odd stray smell...plus I have 14 pets.

I was using a similar dispenser, It is not too great after it sprays everyday for months. It gets nauseating. I even changed scents. I would say I hate these things. I use 2 4" carbon scrubbers and 4 Ionic pro air cleaners placed around my place. Seems to keep a nice neutral clean smell. I also have a giant dog so I spray fabreeze on my couches etc... When I smoke i usually burn nag champa incense. There you have it. Grow= Carbon scrubbers, Living areas= Ionic air cleaners, Smoke sessions= incense.

ona refills work fine. Also the neutra air scent is good. It will not completely kill the ordor but will provide a good mask for most strains. The airwick has a 6 min setting that will make the can last 30 days. It is a good value for the money but will not make your grow undetectable to someone who knows the smell.
