reverting clones to Veg

I got some clones from a flowering female. They were rooted for a week before I got them and I have had them for two weeks now on 18hrs of light. They were transplanted to bigger pots and I've recently started giving them full strength veg nutes. They are growing taller, but still seem to be in flower mode. The growth looks more like that of a flowering plant and they are continuing to produce white hairs. The plants are about 7to 8 inches tall.
Should I switch to a longer light cycle? I don't want to stress them out or increase my chances of herms. Is there anyway to force them back into veg more, or should I just wait and be patient. I would like to veg them out pretty good to maximize my yield.

I'd switch to 24 hrs of light.

Yes go for 24/0 for maximum growth to start them and change to 18/6 when they are well bushed out and then on to 12/12 when you want to start flowering them. I start flowering my plants at around 10-12" tall and this can be done in 35 days from planting my seeds without any pre germination.

(good luck).

Takes about 2 weeks for the re-veg process to begin, give it time. I would stick to 18/6 personally.
