Reversing Branches?

What's your best tips and tricks when it comes to reversing marijuana branches? What do you use? I've always used colladial silver. Heard STS works better but has to be used at that setting.

I don't reverse because it's unnatural. Staying close to Mother Nature's plan has been the most productive for me.

I strongly advise against reversing a single branch. Only because you are going to get silver and/or STS in other parts of the plant as well.

Should that branch actually be a separate clone, then this would be a great idea. I strongly recommend STS and have a very good tutorial on the subject.

Reversing happens naturally in copper deficient soil, sooooo I'm good with it.

As mentioned, nature creates soil with a low enough copper content the plants will reverse "naturally."

I have no personal information regarding optimal copper levels and genetic hermies.

I have found studies proving the need for copper present during the production of ethylene within the plant. Without copper there is no ethylene production, and without ethylene a female plant naturally develops male flowers. Yes, that will mean feminized pollen.

I would not be surprised to find genetic links dealing with the absorption, transport and usage of copper being 'hermi' related genetic issues.

Ethephon is commonly used on several crops and fruit for ethylene. It's been documented you can use it to cause a male plant to develop female flowers, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on cannabis to keep flowers female. The plant converts it directly to ethylene once absorbed.
