REVEG QUESTION?

oh my bad I meant why can't you reveg an auto. I'm trying to learn.
So I can't and shouldnt try reveging an auto strain.
Thats pretty simple, they start to flower after an X period. The whole veg and flower stage is based on age and not on the photo period. Lets say if you would take a clone from a mother which has an age of 5 weeks, the clone would be five weeks too and in the same stage as the mother. So it is pretty useless and a waste of energy to do this.

I lost my clones due to the power going out ... any tips on reveg .. how much to cut off how to feed ? veg nutes? light times?? how long ?? from what im reading 4-6 weeks? any tips would be great. I have a killer strain , just trying to save it ...thanks everyone!

Nice thread will be doing some reveg of some plants that I cannot get clones of anymore. Looks like a long slow process. thanks for the pic superjet. Will def help with my process.

sorry resinscientist, I haven't been around for a couple months. this was my first reveg so I'm no expert but I did get lucky and was able to keep this strain/pheno.
I fed lightly 400-500ppms (veg base nute) and only when the pot was almost dry (coco), be patient and try not to over water or drown out the roots while you're waiting, and waiting (lol)!
I kept the plant under a 250w agrosun (metal halide) 20 on 4 off the whole time while I was revegging.
I think one of the key points is to leave plenty of bud (larf) on the bottom branches, the reveg will probably start at the lowest point on the plant at/from the bud site.

a few questions .. before reveg should I ph my flush water before harvest or not to ph? how long should you keep a mom alive? The longer she is alive, will she start to produce lesser bud quality from her clones??

Would anyone do this purposly for a mother plant or is it more of an emergency thing from lost clones? Reason I ask I read somewhere that revegetated plants makes the best mothers.? It's pretty obvious that having clones (teens) ready to is the way to go but does anyone reveg to bud out again? I could see possibly doing both (clone and reveg to bud again). Here in Michigan its not really an option because of the numbers game we have to play. Even without having to stay under a certain number (Mich. is 12 plants per patient) would it be a waste of light space? Talking indoor rooms of course. I could definitely see throwing a bunch of revegrs outdoors. Once again outdoor grows are a little torch and go here in Mich..

Mgo more of an emergency thing to save a favourite strain. Plan ahead of time by keeping a clone for a mother & you wont need to reveg :)

Nice job Superjet.

It would definitely be more efficient to take clones, but I revenged a bubba kush that I lost the clones of, took more clones and flowered her out again. The quality was the same, it just took a very long time to reveg. Bubba Kush is a very slow veggers in the first place so it may have been why it took so long.
