Reveg problem

Hi peeps,

I'll keep this as concise as possible.

I've managed to get my plant to reveg, but the new growth is runty, small, and obviously compromised somehow, I just don't know why.

I transplanted into a 5 gal coco pot when after flower for reveg, feeding light veg nutes every day on 18/6, pH 5.8, I did not root cull

its been about a month now, and I'm starting to doubt this thing will grow normally again which makes me sad af because its an incredible strain and id be devastated to lose her

Any ideas or how to approach this?

cheers

Patience, takes sometimes 2 months to get a plant back to normal growth... few more weeks everything should sort itself out...

good luck!

:yeahthats Reveg growth always looks a little weird. I had a krippleberry throw a whirled leaf on me when I moved it tents I'm pretty sure.

It should return to normal growth.
I usually clone them when they get back to 5 finger leafs.

When you see the curly leaf ,
Posted above,
The reveg has started.
The only problem is you will need a high amount of light per day, ie, 20/24 on.
Then if you lower the hours to 18, they can start flowering again.
So watch out.
Give the plant 24 hours dark to reset it's clock,
Then set your timer to at least 20 on
(Some strains need 24.)
Give some veg food and you should see new growth.
Also , be paitent, as it can take up to 4 weeks.

I know the growth can be mega weird on revegging plants, its the runtyness that is concerning me the most
I think some of that is that the vast majority of that plant is dead, no leaves or anything left except right in the reveg area. In the future it might work better to cut all the other bud sites, but leave any leaves that are still green? That way they can still supply energy to the little bits that are left to grow.

That actually looks really good. Some plants never come back. You say it's been about a month so probably more like 3 weeks which is not long at all. Your plant looks like it's coming back just fine, it will take right off in a few more weeks.

It looks good to me. I kept mine in 16/8 and had some flower bits show. Since have increased to 18/6

... and that's the answer! IMHO you are better starting off with a clone, most people re-veg for that, vice doing a 2nd run!

I'm definitely hoping to take clones from this but right now the internodes are just stacking up too close and are all crowded and screwy

Thats why I kept mine going. I have no real success cloning and hope this will improve my odds. Further, for some reason I thought ACE would stop running the Bubba Hash and I wanted to keep it around for my use.

They will eventually return to normal growth.
Be careful and remove any old calxs
To stop any mold.
Once the new growth starts remove
Any excess branches that have no growth.

I've even done this with males,
After pollen dropped.
Patients is key.

Also, if it's a bigger plant,
You can cut the root ball down (to remove flower hormones on the root tips)
Take off what you need,
Then plant in fresh soil.
Feed high n food.
Lots of light and paitence.
Good luck amigos.

You should also trim back some of those barren branches so the energy can be put toward the growing parts. It looks like there may be some new growth trying to start on some of those. I know that can hard to do and sometimes it works by letting them go (more new growth) but I’d concentrate on the shoots that are already developing.

I also will take clones as soon as possible. Sometimes a revegged plant can turn into a good mother with proper pruning or you can just flower it out. Be patient and also be careful with the watering.

Also take a look at the stems. I often had stems of revegging plants molding away on their backside which eventually killed the plant and you didn't see anything from the front. In that case you have to be really quick to take clones of it.

:)

:)

Thanks everyone for the advice, patience was the key, she busted out of runt mode and branched out like crazy, probably 30+ cuts on her now, also went through and chopped old stems, also very helpful

Cheers!
