no pictures, to risky !

I newer used light only for moms to keep them in veg all summer befor they where moved inside.

light dep system, its standart equipment and there are several company that sell and mount shading systems.

www. jeepplastic. dk/ this dutch guy is really good, since he accept cash and gets the job done asap

These guys sell brand new solutions

Anyway if you want to go easy its best to grow some dollars and then buy a second hand system and then build a greenhouse that fits.

New back out system are quite expensive.

How long many hours of lights did you give the clones/mothers indoor before transplanting outdoors to keep them from blooming?

Did you do a spring run? When did you place the plants outside for this?

Did you do a winter run? What was your harvest date range for this?

mothers 18-6.. Clones and Veg 24-0

Inside the greenhouse was a room, in that room where the mothers, living in winter time, using MH.
Cloning and early veg was done in the greenhouse on tables, using CFL and MH

Vegging the plants to larger size was done on the outside of the area that was shaded.
Newer had any problems with plants going into flower untill they where forced

Also i newer did a winter harvest, weather is just to bad and i always go of to India and party !

Spring time i always planted around 1april, using heating. Plants for spring run was vegged indoors under hps - 4weeks and the put out around 1april.

U need to work fast and use some strain that is ready in 8weeks, since it take alittel longer to flower them properly in a greenhouse compared to indoors.

you think clones are better off under 24 hours of light? i always figured they need a break and do 18 hours. I use to grow under 24 but heard the plant needs a break

Naa i dont think they are better of, i just liked the growht pattern using 24/0 MH, loved the bush like growth.

Anyway that is such a small part of growing and pepol can do what they feel like is working for them.

Most important is to have clones that are the same size - same age, uniform cuts are the way to go !

Thanks for the info, very helpful. What do you mean by "Vegging the plants to larger size was done on the outside of the area that was shaded."

Gron did you ever have a problem with plant pheromones making your females finish too fast when you put your new females in the greenhouse? Did this effect your yeild and how did you address this issue if there was any?

Hey fatal.. They cover that make things go black was to small for the greenhouse and we had 4 meters on both sides so there we could have plants in veg. When the plants under the cover was done we could move plants into the darkout area.

So the first run we had high plant numbers with small veg time, next batch was larger and hence a lower plant numer was used. The last harvest (we did 3) we called indian summer. There we used very large plants because they do better in the more cold september - october.

We newer had any issue with plants flowering to fast and not yeilding. Some strains just dont like the more natural enviroment - but in my exp most are healthy in the greenhouse and the flower time is a bit longer. The most ideal is to find strains that dont mold up super fast - hence 80-90 indica strains are not the best where classic hybrids work very well in the greenhouse setup

Plan 1april or when the climate allows, plants go in flower. harvest around 1juni (need heating use 1000s in plant number)
1juni next batch go flower harvest around 1august. (100s plant number)
1august indian summer run goes in flower (need heating) (100-200 large plants)

Also in mid september u dont need to cover the crop and u just let the fall do its work
this crop is kinda 50/50% if its will be all the work worth some time september and october is just so horrible that your plants will look 30% of your mid summer harvest

Hope the info work n u start

Hi Grøn,

Would be helpful if you can be more specific about start of flowering in the middle of summer for example from 1st of July, how far are you going with blackout, I mean 3 or 4 weeks and then stop? or can you be more specific about day and night hours from my example as some indica dominant plants you can trigger for 20 days or so and there are enough dark hours in august just to keep flowering as normal and end would be about mid of September.
But for sativa dominant 20 days is not enough and they start revege and starts blooming mid to end of August, how can we avoid it? Just keep on darkening till September, because in my latitude N'55 usually starts to flower about mid of August. :tiphat:
