Okay so i had a herm that i bred. Both strains are quite tasty and potent.will the resulting seeds be herm crazy? Will they all be female?I have one so far that is doing good i will be popping at least another ten to see what they do.Any comments?

Plant a lot of seeds, quickly take them to 12/12, and throw away the hermies. Take cuttings from the keepers, grow the originals out. If space is a problem, bloom them small. You'll get enough to smoke test. Make you selections. Do NOT keep herms. Good luck. -granger

Granger thanks for weighing in on this one.I cant wait to try it out.The cross is blue dot and the doctor by greenhouse.Do you think some of the plants could have both female and male parts when they flower? Not like a stress hermie but a full on herm?

Yes you will have some hermie plants. I had an acid from paradise that was a banana factory. She made lots of fem seeds in my room. I have grown lots of them out. Lots and lots of hermie's. Some nice plants that were nanner free. I have noticed that the hermie factor is less when the seed plants are grown outside. I had an acid s1 that did throw one flower outside, and I didn't find any seeds in it, plant yielded about a lb. Also I have noticed that on some plants the nanners are only on the bottom part of the plant. Once I removed them, they never came back and the plant finished without any seeds.

Thanks guys.I really hope i find a keeper in this cross that isnt crazy.I will plant nine more seeds and clone sex and flower them. When the hermies pop up i will cull the clones and watch for hermie signs everyday.I need to read more about breeding cannabis.I may have more problems with hermies then i think because both seeds were feminized. The blue dot was found in a bag and the doctor is feminized already...I think next time i will try two reg seeds to make a cross

First off what caused them to hermi in the first place? Was it stress or did they just start throwing nanners for no reason?

If it wasn't stress and they just spontaneously started herming then the resulting seeds will have a high likelihood of going hermi too.

If there was a stress that caused the nanners, then that's a better situation but still may produce hermi offspring.

If you're going to run the seeds be prepared to be scouring for tiny nanners forming from like week 4 on out.

Good luck!

I grew some hermi seeds last grow and some of the resulting plants were just fine and some of them I had to cut down because of so many nanners on the buds. It all depends on the genetics and environmental factors!

thanks socks. It was a late flower hermie.I had some plants that were 2 weeks in when i noticed the nanners.Only a few nanners and only 21 seeds. The seedlings are looking good 2 have popped.
