RESERVOIR QUESTION ?

If i use 3 "underbed storage " plastic containers plumbed togeather as one to form a reservoir should i aerate all three using airstones etc ? OR just aerate the hell out of the one container in which the pump is in . and also does anyone know a conversion or calculation to figure out how much air i should pump into the water to keep it from forming algae based on the amount - gallons of water in the reservoir im using ? Thanks for the time and info . any links to suggestions or products thought helpful would be very appreciated ?

You can't over areate so I would agree with Burnsin209, areate all three!
Remember, areation will raise your PH so monitor carefully!
Best of luck.

Personally I'd use a water pump and pump water from the bucket on one end to the bucket on the other end. Keeps the solution properly mixed while the waterfall aerates the solution.
Also I'm not expert on algae but I thought you could only get algae if your containers aren't lightproof.

Good thinking Farmari, however the waterfall noise may be unwanted in certain situations!
