hey, I wouldn't hold breath on recieving the wallet cards. Here is my reply, it is "unknown"...

"Thank you for your e-mail of January 5, 2011, regarding the delay in receiving your plastic identification card under the terms of the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations(MMAR). Your e-mail was forwarded to me so that I may respond to you directly. I apologize for the delay in responding.

As you may be aware, in order to ensure that applicants receive their authorization to possess and/or license to produce in as timely a manner as possible, Health Canada is currently mailing out authorization and license documents prior to the plastic identification card.

Following a review of our operational policies and procedures, Health Canada implemented several changes that have improved efficiencies and sped up the application review and authorization processes. The mailing of identification cards after the official documentation was just one initiative that we implemented in order to restore our standard processing time of 8 to 10 weeks for a complete application.

Please note that the authorization document serves as your only legal proof of authority to posses and/or produce. The plastic identification card is provided for convenience only, and is not your official authorization and/or licence. You are advised to keep the authorization and/or licence document with you at all times when you are in possession of the substance as you are required to show proof to the police when requested.

At this time, I cannot confirm when you will receive the plastic identification card in the mail.

If you have any other questions regarding the Marihuana Medical Access Program, please visit the Health Canada website at www.healthcanada.gc.ca/mma or contact the Marihuana Medical Access Division toll free at 1-866-337-7705."

Hehe look how long it took to get an answer to an email - Jan 5!!!

Peace

Make copies of your licenses right away is what I was told ,,,make 5-6 copies of each. A set for your pockets,a set for your rooms, and a set for your car! Originals go in a safe or well hidden!
