Removal of rooted clone from cloner?

Hey everyone
I have a few grows under my belt, but I just built an aero-cloner and a few clones are showing some roots. I'm wondering how I should remove the clones when they are ready to go into soil? I currently have the 2" polyethelene(i think?) pucks built into the lid. Do I just gently pull through the puck?

no do not pull them thru, your puck should have a straight line 'cut' to the center of the circle, and you just pull it open while you hold the stem. if you dont have the cut then I sugest you cut them with a new razor blade so not to tear your fresh new roots.

Why not pop out the puck, clone and all, and then remove?

Cuz my dumb-ass used the 2" hole + hot glue to keep the pucks in place (instead of just the 1 3/4" hole + force of puck pushing outwards to hold).
So that was my thinking too, using the slit just move the stem out. I guess first run i'll just rip the pucks out, remove the clones via the slit, and then remake the lid using the 1 3/4" holes. Sound like a good strategy?

@mk6: Thanks for the welcome! I had another account on here from a few years ago but I've used that nickname in gaming, and im a little more paranoid then I used to be about work friends (that I game with) googling my nickname and stuff.

You will have to, but dont 'rip' the puck out of it , you must gently cut it out where you glued, use a sharp scalpel, and don't run with scissors
