been thinking of getting one new, maybe traxxas revo, donno, im really new to it all. A friend said every time he takes his out something breaks though, is that anyone elses experience?
yea they do break kinda easy..but they are easy to fix....screws n plastic....but you can always buy more exoensive parts that supposedly are stronger or better...they have a big performance aftermarket thing...its fun...just jump in buy a RTR kit
i use to have a traxxas nitro rustler. it was pretty fast! i blew out the engine and then a kid from my neighborhood asked if he could have it and i gave it to him.
mine broke. it was doing mach 5 into a curb and hit so hard it just fell into pieces.so much fun. my car was a relatively cheap, yet flew like a rocket. i raced a state trooper that used to live down the street from me. ford focus 1, crown vic zero.booyah
ill upload more pics of the inside of the tc4 ..its really neat...ill also try to post links to videos of the fuckers flying around the tracks...!!! stay tuned....i hope to have an entire 3 minute race clip up at some point if i can find a way to post it some where...
is there any good info out there that anyone is up on that has to do with r/c car track design, like, say if i wanted to make a dirt track, what are proper angles and distances between jumps, etc?
SB, most people @ the track would have the r/c vehicle right there and do test jumps.....usually a launch with a hard landing...usualy the hard landing is adjusted with a larger ride height...then after a test jump or two the 'landing' side of the jump is started and adjusted...but that is an excellent question..the best tracks right now employ a 'blue groow' hard pack clay type surface wich is very much like a smooth paved asphalt...except with jumps, sweepers, rythm sections, whoopty doo's, table tops..u name it..ive seen some awesome track set ups and at my local track i help out with the shovel work
