Well im the one you all bashed on for a retarded set-up. Before you get all ancy in your panstsies I have learned my lesson. Here is my new set-up at MY house were my mom is cool with it.


Instead of using HPS im now using CFL. There both 26 watts and produce 3200 lumens combined. I have another 18 watt that produces 1200 lumens, will i need it? And yes im using a trash can as a housing for everything haha. Im using alaskan fish emulsion as far as my nutes, its only had one feeding so far about two weeks ago, should i feed again? 1TBLSP per gallon right?
One other thing im worries about is this thing has been through sunlight, HPS, and now CFL, will it go into any kind of shock?

hello ganja........i have seen many successful transh can grows.....this should be a cool one. If i were you i would deff add that extra 18 watts.....probably even more when the plant gets bigger. Speaking of....you didnt mention anything about your plant, how old, strain, condition.?

and im sure your plant has gone through some sort of shock from the different light sorces but if you dont really notice anything different in the plant it should be alright.

everything looks good, i wouldn't worry about the shifts in light spectra....take it easy on that fish emulsion and everything should be ok....you might want to get a cal/mag product just to have a more fully balanced vegetative feed, but its really up to you...

Yea i'll def add that extra light.The plant is around three and a half weeks old. I think i might just flower her now as I am limited to the amount of space that is left, I know i wont get anymore than 7 grams or so but i just want to make this first grow an easy one and then ill refine my tactics. And this is just some bag seed, nothing special. Looking forward to my first harvest! Im taking a visit to my local garden store for some more nutes tommorrow. I'll keep everyone updated on the growth.

top now above the 2nd or 3rd true node, add the light, flower in one week. that's what i'd do if i were you.


also, i noticed you use imageshack for your photos...they aren't cannabis friendly...why not use the server here for your photos? they shouldn't take any longer than IS and are much safer imo...

Your correct, ImageShack is not pot picture friendly. I wouldn't post there anymore. Do yourself a favour and use the server here. Much safer, take j cannabis's advice - and mine. I sound like a parrot, oh well - just don't want to see anyone busted - especially a first timer. That would just be sad.

Just snip the main stem where you see the stems coming off, that should hopefully cause you to have 4 colas instead of one, makes it more bushy

Your also gonna need a minimum of 10,000 lumens for flowering if you want anything decent. I would also invest in a good grow book for a first timer. goodluck with the grow. Peace and *bong*

That's a neat set up. Small and unobtrusive. What are you doing for air movement?
And why not just grow on a shelf if the home front is cool? Not trying to hassle you just curious. I still think the trash can if nifty.

Yeah, I was high at walmart walkin around and i saw the trash can and thought it would be a nifty little idea And i need all the lumens i can get since im using CFL light, so the shelf is a no go. pics up in the next day or so, A buddy is borrowing my cam.

UPDATE!

So i added two more lights which almost brings me to 8000 lumens all together,added another fan 1 intake 1 outake, and will cover all light leaks with a black shirt
