Reliable Humidifier for 5x5 growtent

Hi all,

I just plugged in my Double ended lamp in my 5x5 grow room a couple days ago, and with summer temps I am having a hard time maintaining my RH even above 50% with a 6L digital humidifier.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a reliable and relatively low maintenance humidifier that can maintain a 5x5 grow tent between 60-70% RH and that does not need to be connected directly to the water supply preferably (no water access in my grow room)?

:thank you:

Hi thugpoet, I've tried the misting vaporizers in tiny tents and in a space that small it helped. In a 5x5 room I don't think they'd provide enough moisture. If you get a perpetual grow going your plants can provide you with the humidity you need. :tiphat:

Hi Fixer,

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes I have a humidifier on 24/7 and am spraying water when the lights are off. Still not even close enough with the hot and dry temps I am experiencing.

Perpetual is not a practical solution, since I reduce lighting depending on the flowering stage and am running seeds for selections almost every run.

A good Humidifier (without dipping into commercial territory) really is the only practical solution. Based on my what I've found so far, there really is no in between commercial humidifiers and consumer essential oil humidifiers.
