I am using a Sentinel CHHC-4 controller. It works great. The only issue I have is that in my room I have the temperature under control. Its the humidity that gets me. So on the humidity control I have two 10" fans that exchange the air in the room. The problem is that I am also using CO2. I have a water pump tied into my controller which then kicks on a tankless water heater. The CHHC-4 unit allows you to lock the CO2 to the temperature but not the humidity. If the CO2 is on at the same time the fans are on... I am just wasting gas.
So... outside of getting a new higher end controller that will shut the CO2 off when the humidity control turns on... my thought was to use a relay of some sort. My thought was 3 cables. 2 for the power to the water pump and the other tied into the humidity control. If the power was off the relay would remain closed and power would flow to the pump. But if the power comes on, the relay would open and cut the power to the pump. Is something like this doable? Any other ideas?
I am using an Ecoplus 1257 pump which uses about 240 watts.
