Relative humidity for young plant

Hi,

I have 3 plants ranging from 5 to 9 days old, I placed them inside a sealed 2\'x2\'x1.5\' box with 2 cool white 23W CFL with a pc case fan for air intake and a small hole on top at the opposite end for exhaust. My problem is the humidity inside box which is around 29-35%, would this be a problem for my mj plants?

I used to mist them every hours or so, but now i don\'t have time for it anymore.

temp inside the box is around 21-24 C.

thanks.

20 to 30 is too low for veg, possibly get a humidifier, you want that type of humidity for later flower

humidifier is not an option right now, because the box is too small. I want to build a grow tent sometime in the future. Is there any other option where i can increase the humidity in my box?

thanks.

Put a couple of containers in there with water, some cups, bowls, trays whatever can hold wtaer without leaking will increase your humidity by a small percentage. I have to do the same when my Humidity drops below 50%. Hope this helps.

Beat me to that suggestion!! :joint:

Maybe add to that idea a wick made of like an old hanky. Cotten, thin, and lotta surface area for evaporation. Suspend the cloth in the dish of water with a frame made something like coathanger wire. The more surface area exposed to the moving air, the more evaporation you get...and a higher RH.
