regenerating auto's?

Hi everyone,
Im just curious if anyone has ever tried to regrow an autoflowering plant after harvesting "her"

IMO, the inability to reveg an auto is the only downside I have found.

Just make seed. sacrifice a little popcorn bud from each girl and chances are you'll find something close to your fave girll again. The time you'd spend attempting a re-veg you're new seeds could be out the soil and raring to go

Thanks everyone for all of the feedback! I was thinking that it would be hard or next to impossible to regenerate auto's but i would much rather ask about it before trying anything that will ultimately waist my time....
