redux: Advanced Mg defiency?

Ok, so I'm not going to post too many details about my setup unless you really need them, just lots of fotos. These are from 2 diffrent locations, so hopefuly everything is clear.

I'm using PBP and black gold potting soil. I've noticed this necrosis on several plants, and I'm thinking its Mg, but I havn't had problems in a while. Perhaps from nutes settling. Effected plants seem to be in both flower and veg stage, and some strains seems to be getting hit worse than others.

Here are pics:
In veg 1st location:

In flower 2nd location:

I'm sorry for not posting more info right now, I'm very tired and need to get this figued out, Thank you very very much in advance for your help.

i think i got me the same problem once....it looks like these plants are going 2 some severe ph changes or have been.....plants getting light spots alll over old leaves....'but this is just a guess at my end...'!
and without ph i realy should't say anything.....:chin::bat:

Water source is tap water, fairly clean as far as that goes. City report says between 7 and 12 ppm, the ph is between 7.2 and 8.2, I have not 'dechlorniated' water by letting it sitting out. I don't really have any way of determinign my soil H, the best I have is one of thoes shitty meters you stick into the soil. I could do a test if you'd like, but I'm not sure they are very accurate.

It seems you are saying this looks more like a pH issue than a Mg def? I have been spraying the plants with the hose quite a bit, and that is how they often get their water, rather than being given PBP. I've been meaning to set-up a dechlorinzation station, but just havn't gotten around to it yet.

Thank you for the help so far and let me know if there is any more info I can get for you.

Ok, so the chronic plant that I posted pictures of last night is going down hill fast, there is a picture of that as well as the other plants. Also my ghetto ph meter, saying I'm right at 6.4, as it always does.

Chronic:

Others plants (pagan, made up name I belive)

Any input greatly aprreciated, I'm about to go get some dolimite lime and Epsom salts and try a bit of both. Let me know what you think!

Oh, why are they dirty?
ANd can anyone give me a recomendation for the lime application? I want to go ahead with it tonight. I got "Lily Miller SweetSoil fine grade dolimite lime" - and I notice it has tons of Mg in there. Does that mean I don't need to add and epsom salts? I'm going to assume it does, and just use the lime for now.

Definate N deficiency, and it looks to me like thier might be a tad Mg and Potassium, but it could just be the lighting in the pics and/or necrosis from the N def.

First thing you should do is check your ph and be sure you aren't overwatering a tad, as this can bring about N defs. Ph should be anywhere from 6 - 6.8. If those 2 are in order, raise your nutrient strength a couple hundred ppm, or 1/4 strength. This will clear up your problem, assuming your ph is in the clear.

It's a calcium and magnesium deficiency.. Take a look here :

You must use a fertilizer for soft water.....
Yup, add some cal-mag to your mix, and mabe give them a SLIGHT up with your pbp, you'll be good. Dont freak out bro!!
P.S.- Setting up a "dechlorination station" is a good idea, not necessarily because of the chlorine but so your water is room temperature. If your feeding them h20 that is cold there gonna get stressed...

Your ph meter is f-ed up. Pureblend brings my water down to less then 4 sometimes. I'd say, go get a nice digital ph meter, add some cal-mag, and adjust to around 6.4-6.8 after the nutes are mixed in and you'll be good. Try 3-5ml cal-mag per gallon. Definately add the lime if your not gonna get a ph meter, but I'd go with the meter.

Your city water rules, I'd love to be where your at. Mines well over 500,lol.

My city water runs at (+/-5) 100 ppm. Lucky me, huh? I would have to agree with the above posts: get a firm handle on your ph and add cal/mag to account for your super-soft water.

You have got a completely wrong ph. I bet that ph dial thingy you have will read a ph of 6.5 from 4 right through till 8. They are useless.
