reducing outdoor flowering time ?

will crossing a normal strain with a auto flowering strain reduce the outdoor flowering time of the cross ? i have a nl clone that i crossed with my auto onyx grew out the seeds and found a nice female that smells of fuel like the nl mother i have no room indoors grow her hoping it could go outside and have a reduced flowering / finnishing time ? any one tryed this ?

is not THAT easy, buddy.
You have to cross the female result again with your auto onyx male, then try ans try and try over and over again :D to goal a 100% and when you finally stabil. it, drop me a phone a call and seed me some of that :D

Suerte!

marziano thats not really what he was asking, i dont think he wants to make a 100% auto just an "early girl". i have never carried out this task, but plant the seeds and see what happens, but im pretty sure i have read reports that it will speed up the flowering by a few weeks. best way to find out is to experiment :)

No, its not a simple matter of "blending" plants. That doesnt happen. The resulting offspring will have a mix of phenotypes from both parents, so you will have to do a whole lot of breeding to get ur original line back with just a "shortened" flowering time.

As a matter of fact, it might be counter productive to use an autoflower, since the autoflowering trait itself isn't necessarily linked (and probably isn't) with flowering time. You are better off finding a non-af strain that resembles yours (or complements it) but has a shorter flowering time.

thats what i was thinking the cross was made by accident was making some seeds in the same room as my nl must have brushed it with some pollen and got a few seeds in a bud was hoping it would have been quicker outdoor becouse of the auto genes !
