Redditor finds neighbors "weed farm" calls police. AKA what not to do...

This hurts to read. A reditor notices his neighbors weed farm, and after consulting the Reddit community which begs him to let the neighbor know, he decides to call the police instead.

So my neighbor is growing a weed farm in his backyard. He recently started renting the house next to me, in which I own my home, have kids, etc. Ever since he moved in the smell of weed has been overwhelming and I suspected that he was growing it in the basement but didn't pay it much attention. Now it's out in the backyard and I m really tempted to call the police.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not one of these petty, nosy neighbors. Nor do I believe that weed deserves the penalty that dealers or users normally get. However, I have never used weed or support making it legal...just my opinion. But I also don't want to see the guy go to jail for years over something petty.
But...I have kids man....I don't like this shit around my kids!

I can't stop laughing at the pic posted. The neighbor who posted the thread was calling that a "bonafide weed farm"! Wow.

If that is someone's attempt at growing a "weed farm" they should consider a new career path.

Way to go. Your neighbor who you think will imminently be locked up, will now be fully aware that you dropped a dime on him over some peach and pear trees. You now have a target on your back.

Seriously though, after reading all of your comments and responses on here, I hope your neighbor finds out it was you that called the police and then you can really find out what kind of bad people he knows. Jesus christ, learn to grow a sack and go tell the dude to grow up. If you can't do that, you might as well just wait for his homies to show. Because they will. It also appears that one plant has a green "nursery tag " near the pot, as in like the kind that says what species and type of watering they need.
