So I have a mason-jar full of different kinds of good-quality cured nuggets that I collected from selling weed.. I quit selling buds to my friends about a month ago and have been smoking out of my jar ever since. But when I did sell to my friends, I only picked up an ounce or two every few days. Every ounce I got I took a couple grams of some nice buds and put them in this jar to cure.. I began the jar over 6months ago, so a few kinds of bud have been curing for a good while!! The jar was at 3 ounces (85grams) when I quit, and now there's exactly 2 ounces left.. 
Well, today I took out a bud that I remembered I put in a few months ago, so its been curing since the start of summer!! This bud wasn't the best quality I have gotten. I remember when I got it, he said it was some hydro-grown shit that was a bit leafy and wasn't flushed right so he gave me a good price.. The buds were long with some good bud on it, a bit of leaf, but it was brown and smelled very odd. Smelled very earthy like a shwaggy herb and the buds weren't flushed, dried, or manicured properly so it tasted and looked like shit but gave a nice body stone..
Anyways, after trimming and drying these buds, they've been curing for a good few months since summers start and are nice and dry/trimmed now!! I broke a nug off to smoke this morning and after inspecting it with a small magnifyer, I spotted a lot of trichromes that were distinctly RED colored!! And I mean dark, shiny dragons-blood RED colored!! The bud is very dark brown/green colored with other stringy amber colored chrystals coming out, but a lot of those chrystals are glowing a shiny dark RED color!! Wow this shit is mature..
... After taking just 1 bong rip, I can tell the smell and taste have improved as well as smoothness in a big way after a long cure!! The taste on the inhale is smooth at first and a bit earthy, and very herby on the exhale as it expands a bit and made me cough just a little.. The stone comes light but quick, as a body high takes over at first. Than as it sets in and i feel nice, my senses have changed a little and I feel like I'm typing this whole thread in some weird slang!! Mostly a body stone though hardly any in the head and but it's not soo intense. Must've been a great indica stain cut early though because I'm high as fuck for how shitty it's been grown!!
I can see where this bud gets a lot of its darker color from in those red trichomes!! Obviously, these distinct red colored chrystals show the bud is a little more matured maybe and definatly packs more of a body stone.. But do these crazy red chrystals have anything to do with the cure?? What about how it was grown or treated? I've seen plenty or amber colored chrystals but never this distinct elmo-colored red!! Crazy!!
.. Have you guys seen this before?? I doubt I'll be able to get closeup pics of those trichomes but I'll try to get some pics and macros of this cured bud later.. Peace!
