CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS, THE BOSTON REDSOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell of a series, I'm glad we brought out the broom! Anybody have any favorite moments from the series? Mine may have been Dice-K's 2-RBI single. Whodathunk that guy woulda had such a nice hack? Not me.

So, to fellow members of the nation, let's soak this up!!!! And to Yankees fans- hey...maybe you'll win next century, like you did the last one.

You Patriots fans have it so f'ng easy... fuc*ng fair weather ALL YEAR LONG.. you guys have never had to suffer through losses and dissapointments

No offense intended, Huff&Puff

I know nothing about American football. How many countries/teams played? Did the UK score anywhere? Were usually last so i'd be curious to see if we are any good at it. . . . . .

not much of a series if you ask me. a gimme if i ever saw it. Cleveland made the sox work and have half the payroll.

Listen to me jerky
It pissed off so many of the people I work with when the Sox won. It was awsome. I will say that Brady has nothing to with the pats cheating. It was the coach, either way they are going to take down the colts.

That was frankly a somewhat dissapointing series...

Glad they won and all, but really kind of a pushover.

The Indians were awesome to watch!!!

Gang, this is what happens when the Sox get the ball rolling! It reminded me a lot of 2004, when we came back against the yankees and swept the Cards. I barely remember the world series from that year but I sure as hell remember staying up till 2 and 3am to watch the games against the yankmees. The series against the Injuns was definitely more exciting than the biggie. I will say that the Rockies made it more interesting than some of the final scores would have one assume.

WMASS, HA! You're the man! Too funny...

Mangled- I used to hate the phrase, too. It has since grown on me, obviously.

Inverse- bwahahaha. I think you, and the A's, must be spending too much time in Oaksterdam! (just effin witcha, if the B&W obscured the tone)

JJS- YES!!!!!!! That is the stuff I love to hear!!! A fan behind enemy lines...

RE: Football/Pats... I could give a shit. I'm of the mindset that football is a sport made by meatheads, for meatheads. Actually, I really don't like watching most sports. Golf (only after I started playing it) the RedSox, and the football we call soccer. I can never understand how we Americans play so much soccer as kids, and yet watching it (american teams, or euro) is not popular at all.

Now excuse me while I go worry that we are going to try and sign A-Fraud.

Stay Safe,

I never could get into baseball like I could football... I don't know about meatheads, I just find football much more entertaining... Honestly, besides my home football team, I don't watch any sports... just not a sports kind of guy.. still hate the Pats though.

I hate it when any team calls themselves "America's team"

I saw the end and even when they win a **World championship, the players and people don't even really celebrate...Why is there no excitement in baseball?

jeter nor rodriguez seemed to care as they went on a vacation :muahaha:

baseball is a sleeping pill for me....I coulden't care less who doesn't lose.

even tho I'm in colorado I was only stuck in front of the world series for 5 minutes...just long enuf to see that boston had a "dreadie" on the team so that's who I wanted to not lose... (I don't remember his name tho).

professional "team sports" are pretty pathetic IMHO

Yeah the dready was the happiest one there...

The Red Sox didn't celebrate last night? wtf were you watching?

Yeah , I'm used to seeing football (Soccer) celebrations for titles, and it goes on into the night until the wee hours and usually half the city doesn't go to work the next day.

The players and fans as well as the managers are xstatic and celebrate like they won the lottery, there is definitely more excitement, i promise...:)

I don't know, part of me is still in shock they swept it in 4 games....the other part of me is greatly appreciated that they won't be farking up my halloween plans. I was very woried about game 6, or the possibility of it.

hey HUFF, return a pm lately?

EDIT: screw the pat's, the Packers are 6-1. I really hate Tom Brady, I wish someone would shoot him in the face...although I think I hate Payton more, so I actually kind of hope the Pat's win, the perfect scenario of course would be for both of those fu*ks and Randy Moss all got injured ;)
