This was the recommended sativa at the Hortipharm, I was told it was a pure sativa - apparently that is slang these days for unmanicured. I found the amount of trim on it when I purchased it to be unacceptable, there was a large amount of leaf I had to remove before being able to take fair pics of the nugs.

I enjoyed the smells of this bud when it was freshly ground, wish it would of come out in the flavor a bit more but it is what it is. Flavor was more bland and earthy like an outdoor strain would have to it.

Fair up high to it, nothing to write home about and far from a "pure sativa". It has a clean high to it that would do the trick during the day for a light user but I feel a medical user would need something a bit stronger than this gear.

Overall smokeability wasn't too bad, after cleaning up the bonus leaf it burned clean and didn't have much irritation in the smoke.

Rate the visual appeal of the buds from 1-10 unappealing-excellent.
Comment: Decent looking sativa nugs, they are of good size in the jar, but the trimming on it was just unacceptable, I must have removed 15% of the weight from the nug before it was smokeable. A lot of the strains they are pushing now are fairly untrimmed which is pretty disappointing at this dispensary, especially at these prices. Fair calyx to leaf ratio, but nothing to write home about.

2. Visible Trichomes: 8.5
Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
Comment: For a sativa it has a good amount and coverage of large trichome heads, there are also a fair amount of smaller longer stalked non-glandular trichomes in the mix, similar to many of the white strains. The coverage on the calyx and bracts is pretty solid, majority of the herb is fairly frosty from stem to leaf.

3. Use an X to indicate the colors that are present in the trichome heads under magnification or list the percentages of each color for

Comment: A friendly bud to break up, not too hard and has solid bracts that arent difficult to crumble. Can easily break this up in the palm with one hand for a quick session on the move.

Comment: Interesting smell to this one, very spicy and slightly hazy smelling, has a weird citrus musky smell to it that makes you keep sniffing, until you suck a few pieces up there!

comment: Perfect quality when I sampled it, breaks down easy in your fingers.

Comment: Fairly light tickle on the throat, seems to have been lightly flushed or at least used less nutes at the end of the cycle, burns easily with a darker grey ash color.

Comment: Average expansion, not heavy on the lungs, doesn't make you cough heavily.

comment: Stronger sativa side to this for sure, definatly not a "pure sativa" as the budtender sells it as.

comment: Not much indica in this one, makes it a good choice for the day

comment: A good solid up high to it that lasts for a fair amount of time for most, wouldn't be long enough and possibly not strong enough for the heavy smokers.
