I already repurposed a three socket pole lamp. Took apart its segments and put the top portion with 3 100w CFL bulbs and all the slack cord into my cabinet.
Now that I have seedlings, I want to give them even more light. They'll be going outside soon, but I want to give them the best start possible.
I have a 24" blacklight bar. Yes I know better than to use a blacklight! It has standard fluoro connectors on the bulb, so I wanted to know what sort of new bulb I should put in there.
I'm growing Early Wonder Skunk autoflowers, so I only really need flowering spectrum.
I've seen short tubes like this at Home Depot, mostly they're for aquariums, but I saw a red striped box too.
What temp light should I look for? 2700k is pretty warm, right? I need the warmest temp with the most lumens I can get, right?
