A issue has surfaced around a friend of mine I am currently awaiting my state to legalize growing for mmj patients like myself which will be at the end of this year but I do intend to return to the scene I have had a 7 year hiatus at growing and can’t wait. The issue is the plants don’t ripen he had a super skunk he let go as long as 12 weeks and all white hairs idk weird I’ve never had that prob when I was growing but I had a 600w hps and he has a led I don’t think it’s a feeding issue or temp either, could it b he has it on bloom and vegg?it’s so weird to me any thoughts gentlemen?

If the season doesn't change the plant won't either. If you maintain the same light hrs, light distance, light intensity, same temps, etc., a plant will stay the same too. The best way to finish out a long flowering plant one needs to mimic Mother Nature. Allow the light intensity to diminish with shorter days and temps to drop in the same way the plant does in Nature.

Next time try starting your plants with a 12/12 and move the photoperiod up just like in Nature until you hit summer time and then do the same back down until you hit 12/12 then 11/13 ,10/14 and raise the lights too to mimic Fall and Winter. If you plan a grow and allow your indoor plants to flower in colder times it will help a lot too. 😎

Thanks for the info,I will relay it.Sounds like the led technology is something u have to get around oppose to hps on 12/12 bcause like I said from 2006-2015 when I last was growing 12/12 was enough as far as this issue goes like I said I don’t think it’s a feeding or temp issue that’s y I boiled down to the light I ask him if he had any light leaks etc.. but he has a tent so that eliminates that notion idk thanks again
