Recommendations On Potent and High Yield Indica Strains

Hey Guys!

I've been doing some research on strains to begin my indoor grow. What I'm looking for in a strain is 1.) Indica or Indica Dominant Hybrid - 2.) High Potency (THC 20%-25%) and - 3.) High Yield. Some strains that I've looked at are Aurora Indica, Northern Lights, Black Domina, and Animal Cookies.

Any feedback on the strains that I've mention or suggestions on other strains to look at would be highly appreciated, Thanks!

Hey Cannabuzz, Welcome!

You might want to look through the IC Vendors, they have superb quality seeds right here under your nose! :D
Good luck!

Of those I think only cookies is over 20%and it yields low I hear... GG4 is testing high and supposedly gets big, there are a lot of OG strains testing high too.

Some of the seed banks you can search by potency too.not many over 20% though...

Animal Cookies is not a strain...

It's a clone only. There are no seeds of it. There are crosses made with the clone it in - but that is not the same. Nor is an S1 going to be the same as a clone.

Just putting that out there.

That being said - every first timer should grow a White Rhino of some sort...Medicine Man from Mr. Nice being the original.

Well lets see....

I have grown out over 20 seeds of Northern Lights from Sensi and found one very nice keeper, which I let go after 2 years... It didn't yield as much as the rest of the phenos but it was very close... it also was the only one with a strong fruity/skunk type smell... the smoke was potently mellow, extremely meditative and almost hallucigenic... but totally different than the psychadelic feel from sativas...

Aurora indica.... got gifted some seeds from a guy a few years back and ran it outdoor... super dense chunky high yielding buds that had an afghani/ orange citrus dominant smell... very very sweet with a cure and it would make beads of sweat roll down your head if you'd over indulge... you had to either sit and recline back or lie down... had me on the couch with a cold rag on my head many of times... definitely felt more indica than pure Northern Lights.

I am currently running some Herijuana and it looks like its gonna be the bees knees... I would recommend it by the reports and people that I know whom have personally tried it.

I would also like to note that any true Afghani or Afghani lineage indicas always feel really good. Hindu Kush was a good one... Everyone around here grows Afghanis commercially outdoors it seems, they never let you down but do get tiring... unless your new to them.

California hash plant was a nice one as well... but more of an energetic body buzz and really mellow.

Go with the Aurora Indica or Herijuana. That is my opinion...

Hey there. The hog from TH seeds is known for good yields and being dom indica. Also legends ultimate indicated. If you like kush's then kosher kush from reserva is good yield for kush as is og kush from dinafem- not the best kush I've had but nice all the same and decent am mount too. Proberly most famous high yielding indica is big bud and it's reworked versions critical and critical mass.
Alot of it comes down to ability and environmental factors. If you veg a plant long enough and train her well, you'll be able to pull decent amount. Also knowing your strains helps. Knowing what they do and dont like as they all have different likes and traits etc
Good luck

Glad you mentioned critical... not ever grown critical mass, but ran critical plus and it is super potent, knock out stoned, red eyed and confusing all at the same time... you better have good carbon filters for this one though, i'm not shitting you... if I could describe the smell it would be roadkill skunky dead fruit with a powerful 'stinging' sharp pine smell... very rock hard nuggets, good bag appeal and everyone loves it...

Indica just isn't my cup of tea anymore... i'm a sativa guy and finally getting a chance to run some landraces this go around. Good luck on your hunt though!

indica dom out of mandala's Nepalese satori. the only strain I've grown where most of the customers complain about being too potent. I've grown well over 100 different store bought strains.it's a couch lock, get stupid high. good frost, incredible heavy, dense bud structure, very hardy ( i'm an outdoor grower in hot, humid se usa).

I consider this strain a super star for outdoor commercial grows, mostly in hybrids but works as a puro..

snow: 50/50 sat/indica outdoors during very overcast and rainy od flowering weather. frosty sativa pheno from dr. gt's Acapulco gold/purple haze pollinated with satori bat male. it's been hard for me to get a good pic. of the frost. really nice and frosty. this year due to prolonged rainy, overcast weather during flowering it came out a little darker. can be pretty green outdoors. hps lamp lighting for pic. picked up the frost but made it look lots darker than the actual harvest.

Very informative feedback. I'll do some research on Herijuana, Thanks!

I agree. Growing environment has a lot to do with its yields. I'll research your other recommendations. Critical Mass sounds like an option.

It seems that Satori is 50/50 as well right?

^ it started off as a nepalese sativa spear/nepalese bat indica but in the seeds ( i'm in my second pack bought two years apart) there are quite a few sativa dom and indica dom phenos. phenotype separation. not all hybrids meld well.
